These are just drafts of my album. I have not yet decided on how I will like to design my album as I am still thinking of potential ideas for my album and I will discuss the things that I will do with my group, such as deciding on a house-style or another feature of our album that will exist throughout all our album designs, such as the font, layout etc. I have completed my research and planning and I will be uploading my music video.

Rough Cut Video & Feedback

 From the feedback of our Rough Cut, I discovered that there was confusion with the mise-en-scene elements of our music video, such as the doll. Despite the ambigous symbolism, the audience response was that it did not matter if the audience did not understand the symbolism as it can enable  audience interpretation.We recieved positive feedback on the use the Bad TV effect and the shadows created through the artificial lighting.Our teacher,  Amy commented on our rough cut, stating that "the pace of it is right, the lip-sync is in-sync, her (the actress) performance is really strong and I persoanlly think that the outdoor parts are really strong". Overall, the feedback was positive and we did not recieve any comments on changes we should make to our music video.

TEAM MEETING #12-Complete music video

We have finally complete our music video. In our previous lesson, only I was present. This gave me the chance to edit the video and make minor changes that were advised by my teachers. I made a minor change to the painting scene as my teacher Amy suggested that we include another painting scene as this would allow a more dynamic feel to the musici video. In today's team meeting, I showed my team members the changes I made and they approved of these changes. Here are some images of our team painting:

The last images shows the change I made to the music video, a shot of the performer painting on the white wall in a frantic, aggressive manner.  On Monday, we will be presenting or music videos to our class and through the audience feedback we recieve, we will make minor changes. Moreover, as we have finished our music video, we have started the next task which is to discover ideas about the potential digipack that will accompany our music video. 

TEAM MEETING #11

In today's team meeting, only Samiz and I were present. In our team meeting, we edited a section of our video that our teacher Vanessa, recommended that we changed as it felt as though our actress was not showing full commitment/ not acting properly. Fortunately, with some editing, we were able to make the scene much more dynamic. We will also be editing this week, making sure our music video is amazing. We will consult with Aamna, getting her view on the changes we have made and on Monday, we will have a screening by which we will present our work to the class and from the feedback we recieve we will make the changes necessary. TEAM MEETING #10

Finally, we have completed the editing process for our music video. We have completed the video but we have minor improvements to make to our video, such as fixing the small gaps within the music video, as this is making the music video look unprofessional, as if our music video was incomplete. With the help of Amy, our teacher, we were able to fix the minor issues of our music video and she has provided us with suggestions for improvement. We will continue making improvements on Monday, next week. I will continue to inform you of the improvements we are making! 

TEAM MEETING #9 Successful editing sessions

Today's team meeting in our class was a very successful editing session. As a group, we were discussing and it was a stressful but entertaining activity as we were noticing how amazing and successful things were going for our music video. We have completed a majority of the editing, but we still have a few scenes to complete, hopefully in a day or 2. As a group, we are communicating with one another and this is enable us to produce a video that we all approve of/enjoy looking at. Yesterday, during our editing session, Samiz was not present but Aamna and I continued to edit and we have booked editing times as a way of completing our music video. Our editing suite times are today (10th Nov. 2015, 12th and 13th Nov.2015). We will also have time in lesson to edit. Here are images of our team meeting and the progress we have made:

Samiz is the most experienced when it comes to editing, so she was most able to edit. Aamna and I contributed by giving our views and discussing whether or not a particular scene should be included. Hopefully, we will have chances

TEAM MEETING #8

In today's team meeting, the entire group was present and we were all able to look at our footage that Aamna and I had took during Hollow Ponds. We have also begun the editing process of our video, and it is required that we meet after school to edit as a way of meeting the deadline, as we have a lot of footage. We were only able to do a small amount of editing, as it took some time-continuously rendering the video and shortlisting the scenes we want to include in the music video. Moreover, I have organised Friday as our last shoot day. Previously, we had issues with timing with our dancer, so I was much stern and wanted to make sure that she will be there, as we have had occasions where she would suddenly be unable to attend, which caused delays. We were unable to take images of our shoot at Hollow Ponds, as we were fixated on the shoot-fortunately, whilst editing I took some images of the shoot:

Hopefully, we have a successful final shoot on Friday without any issues. There is a possible chance that Aamna and/or Samiz will be unable to attend. If this is the case, I am willing to take responsibility and do the shoot with our actress/performer.
