In last week's Media team meeting which took place in class, we had another issue. On the day of our shoot which was Thursday, our dancer told us that she wasn't feeling well and was in severe pain. After much discussion on what to do, we told her that this was a planned day and it had to be done. However, as we were concerned with the health of our dancer, as it could have impacted the shoot, we decided to cancel our shoot for Thursday and shoot on Monday, during the half term holiday. Due to unknown reasons, our director Samiz was unavailable, leaving the assistant directors, Aamna and I to take control. We met on Monday at Hollow Ponds, and it was an amazing shoot! As Aamna and I were the only crew members, it allowed us to have a lot of control and decision making in terms of camera angles etc. Instead of shooting once or twice, which had been the case for previous locations, Aamna and I decided that shooting from various angles and lighting would allow us to have a variety of shots to choose from, shortlisting these shots to pick the best one. Despite postponing the shoot to Monday, I believe it was beneficial as we had more time during the holiday to shoot. We faced a minor issue when coming back to college, as the technician who was responsible to take the equipment back was not present and had left. This resulted in leaving the camera equipment at the estate managers office, hoping that he will give the equipment back to the technician.

TEAM MEETING #6- Rising Issues
In our team meeting for today's class, we had a discussion with Marta. Due to an unfortunate event, Marta our dancer and actress, severely injured her back. Due to this injury, we have decided to let Marta focus on acting instead of dancing, as a way of preventing any more damage to her back. Prior to discovering that Marta had a back injury, we also discovered that she would be unavailable for the half term holiday as she has business to attend. Due to her busy schedule, we have decided to have our last shoot on Thursday as this is the only day when we will be all available. We will be shooting in Hollow Ponds and it will mark the end of our shoot. We will utilizing as much space as we can for our music video shoot, as Hollow Ponds is a spacious location and has many beautiful areas.

TEAM MEETING #5
In today's lesson, we decided to take the advice of our teacher Vanessa, and book the theatre during the school holiday, which was for a week. We consulted the technician Gemma and she said that the theatre was available during the whole week. After consulting Gemma on a free day, we decided to ask our dancer Marta and director Samiz, if they were available on Monday. After asking Marta, we found out she was unavailable and so we need to decide on a day when we are all available.

Email to RCA Records: Response?
After a week of waiting, I did not receive an email for RCA Records.
TEAM MEETING #4
In our team meeting today, we did not film anything but we did some discussing about the dates for our shoots. As the schedules for our actress and actor are quite busy, we have to talk with them to make sure they are available to shoot. Our next shoot day will be on Thursday as we will be booking another space in the theatre. This is because we want to explore with a variety of shots and we want more intense, aggressive choreography. During our team meeting, we were suggested by Vanessa to shoot during the school holidays, if we were allowed to use the theatre in this time. We have not decided yet as we would like to get the opinion of our team member, Samiz as she was not present today. We went over our call sheets to check with the details of our shoot. As I had completed my evaluation task, we did not have a lot to discuss about in our group. This is a sign that we are working according to schedule and we are completing our coursework tasks on time, meeting the deadlines. We are looking forward to shooting this week and also looking forward to shooting in Hollow Ponds. I will also being the photography for our digipack/album essentials.
2nd Day of Shooting-The Theatre
We have begun to shoot in the theatre! The shoot was a success as we were able to utilize the complete theatre. During the shoot, we made sure we had a variety of camera angles and shots and we made sure to contribute all together, directing cast members as well as eachother. We were able to use the lights within the theatre to create a dramatic effect of isolation. We had a minor problem with the paint and paper on the wall as we accidentally got some paint on the wall, however we took responsibility of our actions and made sure to wipe it clean! Here are some images from the shoot:

First Day Shooting- Day 1 of Music Video Shoot
Today marked the day we started to create our music video. After we had completed the various tasks, such as the location recces and call sheets, we were now able to start shooting. The shoot was set from 230 to 430, however our actors were to arrive at 3:30, giving us time to prepare our camera and lighting, as well as discuss what will be happening. The shoot was a very fun but collaborative job and our actors did an incredible job! We are looking forward to our shoot on Friday at the college theatre! Here are some images of our shoot today:

TEAM MEETING #3
In today's team meeting we discussed the changes in our location and went to the estate manager to ask if we may use the cargo outside in the football field. Here are the images that we took so we could use for our location recce:
Our agreement with the estate manager involved that we would remove the equipment within the shed. The location is advantageous as the location is small and enclosed, creating a feeling of entrapment and isolation. We also believe this location will give insight into the feeling of vulnerability and as the cargo is metal, it could suggest she is metaphorically locked away-her heart is locked away. This links with the key necklace that will be worn, as it also symbolises locking her heart away. The use of the location could suggest that she has become emotionless, as the interior of the cargo is plain and grey. Additionally, we discussed who has to finish what in our group. Samiz will finish the call sheets whilst I will communicate with the cast members and will complete the location recces, risk assessments and talent release statements.
Here are images below of our group working:
Hopefully, we will be finished by next week Monday, however the performer was unavailable this week and I will have to wait until she returns so I can sign the talent release statement.
